I just thought I would add this little picture af Aria at a mud festival in South Korea, pretty cute I think.
OK, I just have a few little notes for everyone. Congrats. to Jessica, I hear you did a GREAT job. Sorry we were not there, Aria wanted to stay in her pj's at home for her Birthday. Wow! She really is like me!
Congrats. to everyone who has made it through their first MIC day. It's the hardest, and will get easier each time.
I have some concerns for each of us to considar as we move on.
1. We need to be sure the door to the Church is locked while we are there! This means that we will have to be on time (this will only affect me :) and come up with a way of letting someone know if we are going to be late. I suggest we use the door by the Primary rm. and knock loud. Hopefully if someone knows you are running late they can watch for you.
2. I really think we need to go over some rules with our little ones. I want everyone to have fun, AND learn. If we as moms go over the rules on our way to preschool with our children so that they know what to expect I think it will help. We also need to have the MIC reminde the children at the beginning of each day by having a rule review. Mom's work hard on these lessons, and they will be a lot more fun if they are able to do most of what they have planned. Games are fun, and our moms always have them in the lessons. Lets try reminde the children to keep the free play for the very end, and maybe end ten min. early or so. That way the kids get a chance to have some.
3. MY BIG WORRY!!! Break outs, Break outs, Break Outs!! I'm afraid that someone is going to get lost or hurt. If the HM is chasing children through the hall, she cant really help in the class, which is the point. And because one child out usually leads to ALL children out, we need to nip this in the bud. Any ideas are welcome to solve this issue.
4. Lets make a list of rules and consequences that we all agree on for the children. I need ideas here. That way we will be consistant and since we all agree then no ones parenting style will be offended. For instance...I don't spank or stick noses in the corner but I think time out is a great tool.
5. Last thing, if everyone can let me know if there are any special days in April that you CANNOT teach, let me know by Friday. I will have the April schedule up on Monday!
Thanks Again everyone.
I still need some Themes...I'm thinking "Feelings" will be next.
I need everyone to post what supply they think we need, I'm working on a list. I hope to have all of it compiled and price breakdown to everyone by next week.

Looks like I am free in April. I second all your comments. We do time- outs at my house. In fact Gretchen put me in time out last thursday! These are some supplies I think we need for preschool: Paper Towels, Wipes, Dixie Cups, small paper plates. Art supplies: elmer's glue, glue sticks, marker for names, construction paper, scissors (2 pairs for adults, I don't think they should have them), crayons...I'm getting a blank, I'm sure there is more. I have some q-tips and cotton balls to donate to the supplies. I've also been saving toilet paper rolls!
